ATUC chairman Sattar Mohbaliyev met with his Kazakh colleagues

On July 1, Chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC), MP  Sattar Mohbaliyev met with representatives of trade unions of Kazakhstan who are on a visit to our country.

At the meeting, they talked about the friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, as well as the existing relations between the relevant institutions of the two countries, the work done in the direction of further strengthening of cooperation and future perspectives.

Talking about the activities of the Azerbaijani trade unions, the chairman of the ATUC said that the trade unions, which are the largest public organization in our country, actively participate in the construction of a new society, play an important role in the implementation of social policy, and adequately respond to all the calls of the state, including pro-social proposals.

It was added that today trade unions, as defenders of the rights of our citizens involved in the labor process in Azerbaijan, conduct more consistent and purposeful work using new methods and tools in the field of adapting working conditions to modern standards, solving social problems and ensuring labor rights in all enterprises operating in our country.

Thanking for the warm welcome, the deputy general director of the “ROP Assets Management Directorate of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan” Kairat Aybosnov gave detailed information about the work done by trade unions of Kazakhstan.

He said that the relations between the trade unions of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are continuously developing, mutual visits are organized, experiences and ideas are exchanged. It was stated that efforts will be made to further develop these relations in the future.

Talking about the current state of sanatorium-resort centers in Kazakhstan, K. Aybosnov said that they visited sanatoriums and rest houses belonging to Azerbaijan trade unions, got acquainted with the conditions created there and liked them. The guest added that Azerbaijan’s experience in this field is very important for them.

 

The meeting also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
