On December 23, Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation held an award ceremony for the winners of the intellectual game "What? Where? When?" organized by the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Administrations and Public Service Workers, a member organization of the institution.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation Sahib Mammadov congratulated the winning teams and spoke about the youth policy of our state and the conditions created in our country for their comprehensive development. It was noted that various events, sports and knowledge competitions are held by trade unions in connection with significant days for our people, organized on the occasion of the world Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day “What? Where? When?"the intellectual game is also a continuation of this tradition.
Bringing to the attention the importance of the day of Solidarity announced at the initiative of great leader Heydar Aliyev, Sahib Mammadov emphasized that our solidarity is based on the successes and achievements of our people. The further course of historical processes has repeatedly proved the importance of this decision and was once again confirmed by the victory in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Speaking about the new projects, the chairman of the Confederation brought to the attention that they are implemented in order to ensure the satisfaction of the union members and more reliable protection of labor rights, as well as to ensure inclusivity, accessibility and transparency.
Deputy chairman of ATUC, chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Administrations and Public Service Workers Hikmet Osmanov congratulated the winning teams. He stressed the importance of such competitions in terms of increasing the level of knowledge and skills of the union members, as well as the efficient conduct of their leisure time.
A total of 34 teams took part in the knowledge competition. The first place in the intense and interesting competition was won by the teams of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, the second place by the Ministry of Economy and the third place by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of population. The winners of the intellectual game were awarded trophies and honorary diplomas.
