A meeting was held between the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan (ATUC) and the mediation council.
At the event organized by ATUC Academy of Labor and Social Relations, new opportunities for protection of workers ' rights and settlement of labor disputes were discussed.
Advisor to the chairman of ATUC Orkhan Arabov noted the importance of the Memorandum of cooperation between the Confederation and the mediation council, signed in October 2024. Orkhan Arabov said that the document will contribute to the establishment of more effective labor relations for both employees and employers.
Tural Suleymanov, head of the Department for the protection of Labor and socio-economic rights of ATUC, shared his views on the recent projects implemented by the Confederation and new directions of cooperation with the mediation council.
Speaking about the role of mediators in resolving labor disputes, director of Baku mediation organization No. 6 Tural Shahbazov emphasized that their participation creates additional opportunities for faster and more efficient settlement of disputes.
At the event, an exchange of views was held on the directions of expanding cooperation, proposals were voiced.
