Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation Sahib Mammadov visited Duzdag Treatment Center of the Confederation as part of his visit to Nakhchivan.
The chairman of the Confederation was interested in the conditions created in the Center.
Chairman of the Nakhchivan Trade Unions Council Gazanfar Abdullayev, member Organization of AHİK, informed about the activities of Duzdag Treatment Center.
It should be noted that the underground part of the Center is located at a distance of 300 meters from the entrance, at a depth of 110 meters. The air temperature here in all seasons of the year ranges from 18 to 20 degrees, humidity-from 24 to 50 percent. Salt of this place is useful in the treatment and prevention of many diseases, bronchial asthma, bronchitis, pollinosis, chronic bronchitis with an asthmatic component, allergic rhinitis and other diseases.
Currently, the Center has 474 beds for patients.
After reviewing the center, Sahib Mammadov gave his recommendations for creating comprehensive conditions for the development of medical tourism here.
