Member of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan with the support of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers Republican Committee, organized by the Center for aesthetic development “Yonca” and the choir group “Zafar sadasi” in the Cultural Center named after Shahriyar “to the Wonderland..."the premiere of the play was held.
First, the National Anthem was played, and the memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Then a video clip prepared on the ideas expressed by national leader Heydar Aliyev about children was demonstrated.
Lala Zahir, founder of the "Yonca" Aesthetic Development Center, spoke about the essence of the performance. She emphasized that it is the duty of each of us to cherish the memory of our heroes who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland, to work for the children of our martyrs to spend their time effectively, to reveal their talents, and to cultivate them in the national spirit.
Speaking at the ceremony, MP Vugar Iskandarov spoke about the heroism of our brave people who gave their lives for our motherland and lands. He noted that the children of our martyrs who showed heroism in the Patriotic War are not forgotten: “families of martyrs and veterans, their children are surrounded by special attention and care of our state. Martyr's relics are entrusted to the motherland.”
At the end of his speech, Vugar Iskandarov thanked the organizers of the event and everyone who contributed to the preparation of the performance.
Then, a play called "To the Land of Wonders..." was performed. The children of martyrs from the "Zafar sadası" choir performed on stage as actors for the first time.
Children aged 5-14 portrayed various fairy tale heroes through the roles they performed. The play begins with a conversation with the grandmothers of two children - Jasur and Ziynet. The main characters of the play travel to several times and meet interesting characters.
After the play, the "Zafar sadası" choir sang poems and music about the history of the Victory of our glorious Army and our national spiritual values.
Finally, more than 500 children who participated in the event were presented with gifts by the Independent Trade Union of Education Workers Republican Committee.
