Norms and rules of labor protection established by the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan and other regulatory legal acts relate to the entire work of workers, students and students who have passed industrial experience, military personnel involved in work at enterprises, convicts, working in places of execution of court sentences, persons involved in the elimination of the consequences of natural disasters, as well as to the performance of work in the regime of martial law and state of emergency on the ground.
Public control over the observance of the principle of preferring the life and health of an employee to the results of the production activities of the enterprise is carried out by trade unions. The state, in consultation with trade unions and representative bodies of employers in regulating labor protection, approves programs to improve working conditions and labor protection, organizes and ensures their implementation.
