On February 1-2, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, the Azerbaijan Checkers Federation and the United Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture jointly organized a chess and checkers tournament among employees working in the agricultural field on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
In the contests held within the framework of expressions related to the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”, representatives of the Office of the Ministry of Agriculture, local institutions, as well as “Agroservis” OJSC, State Seed Fund, scientific research institutes, Agrarian Credit and Development Agency, Agrarian Insurance Fund, Agrarian Procurement and Supply Employees of OJSC, Agrarian Research Center participated.
The winners were awarded trophies, medals and cash prizes.
