Caring for the children of our future, their growth in a healthy environment, well-educated and decent children is an important part of the social policy of our state. Based on this policy, Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation regularly, including on the eve of holidays, hold meetings with children, especially with the children of martyrs and veterans, and share the joy of the holiday.
This tradition was continued on the eve of December 31 - the day of solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the new year. Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation and its member organizations delighted children in all cities and regions of our country, as well as the children of union members with various gifts in connection with the upcoming holidays.
The events also covered the underage residents of East Zangazur and Karabakh, who met the Solidarity Day and The New Year in their ancestral home.
At the event held for students of Secondary School No. 1 in Shusha, AHIK deputy chairman Hikmet Osmanov emphasized that it is a great pride to meet the holidays in their native lands, and congratulated schoolchildren on the holiday.
Ulvi Heydarov, consultant of the Special Representative Office of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha, spoke about the conditions created for the children who met the new year in Shusha to study in their homeland and grow up comprehensively. AHİK member Elnara Muradova, chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Health Workers, spoke about the importance of the projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to cover the growing generation with comprehensive care.
At the meeting held at secondary school №4 named after Nizami Ganjavi in Khankendi, Deputy Chairman of AHIK Gazanfar Abdullayev congratulated the children.
Sabuhi Gahramanov, an employee of the special representation of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi, Aghdere and Khojaly regions, spoke about the activities in the direction of development and protection of children's rights in our country, and emphasized the activity of trade unions in this direction.
A holiday event was organized for pupils at secondary school №1 in Khojaly city. Advisor to the chairman of BHIK Jamaladdin Guliyev noted the activities by our state in the direction of raising children in a social environment based on high moral values and forming them as true patriots.
At the events, the children recited poems on the theme of patriotism and in a festive mood, shared the joy of living in their native land. Then Holiday gifts were given to children by AHIK.
Representatives of AHIK also met with children in Jabrayil, Fizuli, Zangilan and Lachin districts and made them happy with holiday gifts.
A holiday meeting with children was also held in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, congratulations were sounded. At the event, the children were given gifts from AHIK.
It should be noted that this humanitarian action carried out by the Confederation was also organized in schools where children with disabilities and special needs study.
