A meeting was held with representatives of Medical Territorial Units Management Association in the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation.
Emphasizing the favorable conditions created for the effective activity of trade unions in our country, the attention and care of Mr. President Ilham Aliyev in this area, chairman of the Confederation Sahib Mammadov spoke about the activities to protect labor, social, economic rights and legitimate interests of the union members, protect their health, organize treatment and recreation.
It was noted that sanatoriums and resort are already operating in the winter months, and during the season, trips to the union members are offered on preferential terms. İn order to ensure accessibility and comfort, the Tourist Information Center “Kurort” has been established under AHİK, the process of issuing trips has been centralized and simplified.
The chairman of the Confederation emphasized the prospects for cooperation with Tabib in the implementation of social projects, provision of medical rehabilitation services in sanatoriums, Organization of joint training and educational events, and health promotion.
Tabib executive director Vugar Gurbanov spoke about the activities of the organization headed by him and expressed his views on the directions of cooperation. The head of Tabib brought to the attention the importance of the development of medical tourism and the expansion of the sphere of rehabilitation services in sanatoriums.
The sides also exchanged views on other areas of interest.
