On December 24, chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation Sahib Mammadov met with chairman of the Öz Orman-İş Union of Turkey Sattar Aslan, who is on a visit to our country.
At the meeting, the Azerbaijani-Turkish brotherhood, relations between the trade unions of our countries and the activities to further strengthen cooperation were discussed.
Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation Sahib Mammadov stressed that relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan are based on the principles of friendship and are built on solid foundations in all areas. Noting that our relations are also strengthened by close cooperation in the field of social and labor rights, the chairman of the Confederation noted that the long-term partnership with Öz Orman-İş Union is highly appreciated.
At the meeting, as in other areas, the importance of improving the working conditions of workers that working in the forest area, strengthening their social protection and protecting their rights was brought to the attention. It was noted that every step we take will serve both the welfare of our employees and the strengthening of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations.
Chairman of the Öz Orman-İş Union Sattar Aslan noted the positive impact of the high level of relations between our countries on all spheres. Speaking about the development of relations between the trade unions of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Sattar Aslan emphasized the importance of mutual visits and exchange of experience in this regard. The chairman of the Öz Orman-İş Union said that they will make efforts to deepen cooperation in the field of protection of workers ' interests and protection of labor rights.
