
The opening of the Center for Advanced Training and Personnel Development was held at the Academy of Labour and Social Relations of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK).
At the event, Yusif Agayev, the Acting Rector of AESMA, stated that the center was created to enhance the knowledge and skills of Trade Union members, provide quality training services, and train personnel in line with the requirements of the labor market. He also provided information about the conditions created at the Center.
Hasan Jafarov, Chief of Staff of AHIK, emphasized that the center meets modern requirements and highlighted the importance of its effective operation in improving the qualifications and training of personnel, preparing new projects, and wished success to the Center’s work.
Khayala Mammadova, Vice-Rector for International Relations at AESMA, Nurangiz Mikayilova, Dean of the School of Social Work, and Saadat Aliyeva, Head of the Department for Advanced Training and Retraining of Trade Union Personnel and Activists, mentioned that the Center would organize training on important topics such as labor rights, occupational safety, and new working methods.
It was noted that the center plans to conduct professional training based on requests from member organizations of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, as well as government agencies and the private sector, and to organize refresher courses.
The trainings are planned to be interactive, based on real work cases and practical tasks, and experienced specialists, internationally accredited experts, and mentors will be engaged as trainers.
