A running race was held in Agjabedi district within the framework of the "Run to Health!" project, initiated and organized by the Republican Committee of the Healthcare Workers' Trade Union (ASİHIRK), a member organization of the Azerbaijan Confederation of Trade Unions.
A total of about 130 doctors, nurses and other professionals from Agjabedi, Jabrayil, Lachin, Agdam, Fuzuli, Barda, Tartar and Beylagan districts participated in the five thousand meter race.
In the end, the first 3 people to cross the finish line were announced and awarded. The winners also gained the right to participate in the final race to be organized in the city of Khankendi.
It should be noted that the sports event dedicated to June 17 - Medical Workers' Professional Day, aims to effectively organize the leisure time of medical workers, promote physical health and strengthen solidarity among trade union members.
