The chess qualification tournament dedicated to the Novruz holiday, organized by the Association of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations (AHIITA), a subordinate organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation (AHIK), has concluded.
110 chess players competed in the competition. The first three places in the test competition were won by Mirzazade Ali, Asadli Sema and Mustafa Tural, the 4th place by Rahimov Murad, Ashrafzade Nihad and Rustamzade Eyyub, the 3rd place by Azizli Rauf, Kazimli Elmir and Pashayev Yusif, and the 2nd place by Najafov Adil, Allahverdiyev Huseyn and Murvetova Nilufer.
As part of the tournament, medals and diplomas were presented to the winners, and certificates were handed to participants who met the grade standards.
