An international conference titled “Regional Conference: The Role of Education in the Modernization and Strengthening of Trade Union Structures” was held in the capital city of Chișinău, organized jointly by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova.
The event brought together trade union representatives from Moldova, Ukraine, Central Asia, and the South Caucasus. Azerbaijan was represented by Orkhan Arabov, Advisor to the President of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC), and Sabina Jabarova, Head of the Youth, Social Projects, and Gender Issues Department of ATUC.
The conference featured discussions on education and training within the trade union system, opportunities for expanding regional cooperation, as well as contemporary challenges and approaches.
