At the meeting held in cooperation with the private sector, Chairman of the Confederation Sahib Mammadov spoke about the reforms carried out in the trade union system, innovations applied in the field of protection of labour rights, protection of health, organization of treatment and recreation of members, implemented projects.
It was noted that one of the new projects “AHİK volunteers” is being successfully continued, The Tourism Information Center “Kurort” has been created, where trips are provided from a single space, and the process of issuing trips has been simplified.
The project “Layiqli Emek Sefirleri” will also be launched in the near future. At the meeting, information was also provided about the "AHIK Plus" program, which will provide special discounts and bonuses for members of the Union.
It was emphasized that the Confederation attaches special importance to cooperation with the private sector, supports the unification of workers in this field in trade unions, providing each employee with decent working conditions.
Vusal Shikhaliyev, head of the Department of Economic Policy and industrial issues of the administration of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, especially noted the activities of the Confederation recently and stressed the importance of AHİK's cooperation with the private sector. Vusal Shikhaliyev spoke about the principles of environmental, social and governance (ESG), including the importance of social initiatives, protection of Health and safety of employees, and the importance of entrepreneurs ' participation in social projects.
