
A new social project "With care from colleague to colleague" has been launched, jointly initiated by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK), the Ministry of Health, Administration of Regional Medical Divisions, the Republican Committee of the Healthcare Workers Trade Union, the member organization of AHIK, and "Referans Medical Group".
The first field medical examination within the framework of the project was organized on April 10-11 in the mountainous region of Lerik.
First, they visited the monument to the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the city of Lerik.
During a free field medical examination organized in the Lerik district central hospital, professional medical workers consisting of an ophthalmologist, otorhinolaryngologist, endocrinologist, neurologist, pediatric neurologist, infectious disease specialist, pediatrician and traumatologist conducted examinations.
In two days, more than 600 medical services were provided to about 300 low-income and needy citizens. Residents who were diagnosed with health problems were given medical advice and prescribed appropriate treatment.
The children who arrived for examination were presented with gifts by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation.
AHİK volunteers also participated in the organization of the event.
It should be noted that mobile medical examinations are organized to protect the health of our members, further increase access to medical services, and support the social policy of our state. The project is also planned to be held in other mountainous, foothill, and border regions of our country.
