The social project “from colleague to colleague with care”, organized by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHİK), with the support of the Ministry of Health, Medical Territorial Units Management Association and the “Reference Medical Group”, was continued in Shabran on April 23-24.
First, a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev was visited in Shabran city and flowers were laid in front of it.
During the free mobile medical examination organized at Shabran District Central Hospital, professional medical staff in the field of oncology, cardiology, neurology, psychiatry, gynecology and Endocrinology conducted examinations.
In total, more than 700 medical services were provided to more than 1,100 citizens within two days. Residents who were found to have health problems were given medical advice and appropriate treatment was prescribed.
The children who came to the examination were given gifts by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation. AHIK volunteers also participated in the organization of the event.
It should be noted that mobile medical examinations are organized in order to protect the health of our members, increase access to medical services and support the social policy of our state. The implementation of the project is also envisaged in other mountainous, foothill, and border districts of our country.
