The leadership of the Agrarian Sector Workers Trade Union of the member Organization of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC) met with the teaching staff of Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ASAU).
At the meeting, Fuad Mammadov, chairman of the Agrarian Sector Workers Trade Union, informed about the work done by the trade unions in 2024, brought to the attention the results obtained on the activities of the organization. He noted the duties of trade unions in the establishment of labor relations in enterprises and organizations operating in the agrarian sector in accordance with the current legislation, protection of labor rights.
Then, at the event, a constituent meeting of the trade union committee of ASAU was held, the composition of the committee was formed and a new chairman was elected. By the unanimous decision of the trade union committee of ASAU, it was decided to transfer the organization to the Agricultural Workers Trade Unions. Also, discussions were held on the re-formation of ASAU student Trade Union and relevant decisions were adopted.
