The regional boxing championship among schoolboys in Shaki has concluded. The first competition, organized to promote and develop boxing in cities, districts, settlements, and villages, as well as to identify promising athletes, was held at the Shaki Olympic Sports Complex.
A total of 151 athletes participated in the tournament, including boxers from the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association (AHIITA), a subsidiary organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK).
AHIITA athletes Mehran Rasulov (75 kg) and Yusif Agakishiyev (80 kg) won gold medals, while Yusif Mammadov (50 kg) secured a bronze medal, earning them the right to compete in the final stage, which will take place in Baku.
