This seminar, organized in partnership between the Academy of Labor and Social Relations of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan and "Holberton School Azerbaijan," aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the academy’s students in the field of information and communication technologies. The Acting Rector of the Academy of Labor and Social Relations, Yusif Agayev, discussed key aspects of information technologies, artificial intelligence, as well as the importance of programming and data analysis skills. He emphasized that acquiring these competencies is not only essential for a successful career but also a crucial requirement in today’s competitive labor market.
The Director of Holberton School in Azerbaijan, Shamsi Bayramzade, and Software Engineer Safura Mehtizade presented information about the institution’s activities.
During the presentation, it was noted that Holberton School Azerbaijan is the only global IT school based in Silicon Valley, with an office in the USA, and the first of its kind in Azerbaijan. The school uses a unique "peer-to-peer" methodology that fosters more effective learning by enhancing team collaboration and knowledge exchange among students.
Additionally, it was announced that Holberton School in Azerbaijan will offer a full scholarship to 20 students selected from the academy's students.
At the conclusion of the seminar, participants had the opportunity to ask questions, which led to a deeper discussion of the relevant topics and the opportunities being presented.
