A meeting was held with Members of the Milli Majlis Committee on Public Associations and Religious Organizations at the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation (AHIK).
The meeting was attended by Fazil Mustafa Chairman of the Committee, Sahib Aliyev Deputy Chairman, the Members - Azer Allahveranov and Sabina Salmanova, expert Akbar Goshali, and AHIK representatives.
Sahib Mammadov, the Chairman of the Confederation,spoke about the favorable conditions created for the effective activity of trade unions in our country, the attention and care of our Head of State, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, to this area, and provided information on the work done to protect the labor, social, and economic rights of union members, protect their health, and organize treatment and recreation.
Then videos on the AHIK activities and the Decent Work Ambassadors Project were demonstrated.
At the event, the MPs were presented with structural reforms, ongoing projects, applied innovations, favorable conditions for training personnel at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations. It was noted that one of the new projects "AHIK Volunteers" is successfully continuing, the project Decent Work Ambassadors Project has been launched, and in the near future the "AHIK Plus" program will be launched, which provides special discounts for the Union Members . It was noted that the Tourist Information Center "Resort" was created to issue referrals from a single center, the procedure was simplified, and the complete digitalization of the process is underway.
Fazil Mustafa, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Public Associations and Religious Institutions, highly praised the reforms carried out in the Confederation.
The MPs - Sahib Aliyev, Azer Allahveranov and Sabina Salmanova, in their speeches, spoke about the services of trade unions in the regulation of labor relations and the development of civil society in our country, and wished success to the work of the organization.
Then, the Members of the Milli Majlis got acquainted with the conditions created for the reception of citizens at the AHIK, as well as with the innovations introduced in the process of issuing tickets at the "Kurort" Tourism Information Center.
