Natural Resources and Ecology Workers Trade Union Republican Committee was established in September 2002, 26. It includes employees of all departments that are part of the structure of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
The committee includes 72 trade union organizations and has 6,279 members.
The supreme body of the trade union is the Congress. During the inter-Congress period, the work of the Republican Committee is headed by the Assembly, which is held no less than once a year. To carry out operational guidance, the Executive Committee is elected from the composition of the members of the Assembly.
The Republican Committee of the Trade Union operates in accordance with the Republican Law "On Trade Unions", the Charters of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation and the Natural Resources and Ecology Workers Trade Union.
The trade union is a member of the International Federation of Construction and Forestry Workers' Trade Unions and the Federation of Forestry Workers' Trade Unions of the CIS countries.
