The Azerbaijan State Administration and Public Service Workers' Trade Union (DİIXİ HI) was founded on June 23, 1920. It unites civil servants, civil servants working in the law enforcement and defense system, and employees in the public service sector (employees of a number of banks, institutions, and service sectors).
The committee covers 1,385 trade union organizations, including 17 united trade unions, 76 district and city committees, and has 98,690 members.
The supreme governing body of the DIIXI HI is the Congress. In the period between congresses, the trade union is led by the Plenum and the Presidium.
DIIXI HI has a Training and Sports Center in Saatlı district and a 96-seat “Ülfət” recreation center, which was put into operation in 2010 in Nabran settlement of Xaçmaz district for the recreation of its members. DIIXI Trade Union is a member of international organizations such as PSI (International Federation of Public Service) and EPSU (European Federation of Public Service).
