Due to the beginning of the summer season, when the air temperature is higher than 41 degrees, the trade unions of Azerbaijan have increased control over the process of suspending work in open air conditions in enterprises and organizations.
The aim here is to ensure public control of the trade unions on giving breaks to workers in open conditions in hot weather, which adversely affects health in the workplace, or suspending work.
The “Agriculture-Food-Work” Trade Union Federation has also increased its activity in the enterprises and organizations it serves in this direction, stopping all types of work in the open air and in covered buildings, rooms and other workplaces without cooling devices and creating an opportunity for employees to cool down, taking breaks every two hours and giving is strictly controlled.
Also, the employees of the Federation visited the regional committees of the institution, a number of enterprises and organizations, including the “Azersun Holding” Group of Companies, the “Melioration and Water Management” JSC, the Operation Department of the Vilashchay Reservoir of the Masalli region, and took preventive measures to prevent flooding and overflowing. they gave relevant recommendations about the importance of taking measures.
