The trade union committee of “P-Agro” Cotton Production Enterprise, a member organization of the United Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture, held an event on the occasion of the Holy Sacrifice.Employees of the enterprise took part in the event. Sevinj Hasanova, the chairman of the trade union committee of the institution, congratulated the collective members on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha and wished them peace and success in their activities. She said that after the restoration of Azerbaijan’s independence, the celebration of the Eid al-Adha, which is a symbol of solidarity and brotherhood of Muslims all over the world, in our country at the state level demonstrates to the world the unity of the people and the state, and that the people of Azerbaijan are loyal to their national and religious traditions: “For hundreds of years, Azerbaijan, where members of different nations and religions live as a friendly family, has an exemplary environment of coexistence based on mutual respect and trust, and ethnic-cultural diversity is preserved. Officially celebrated religious holidays in our country every year become a celebration of progressive national-spiritual values, social assistance and benevolence, and strengthen the unity and equality in our society. These aspects recognize Azerbaijan as one of the exemplary places of tolerance and multiculturalism in the world.”
Then gifts were presented to 90 collective members on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
