The interest in the forum is growing every year, with about 400 high-ranking and high-level representatives from 53 countries, former heads of state and government, officials of international and non-governmental organizations taking part in the event. This is quite high compared to last year. The current topic of the Forum, organized under the auspices of President Ilham Aliyev and organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, is also a very important issue. Thus, a number of known contradictory processes are taking place in the world, the consequences of which are growing. Security issues, food crisis, energy problems are on the world agenda today. Speaking at the opening ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev clearly explained Azerbaijan’s approach to regional security. It is known that Armenia has made commitments in this regard, but despite the fact that so much time has passed since the signing of the statement of November 10, 2020, it is still hesitant to open the Zangazur corridor, and the process is delayed for no reason. In my previous statements, I said that the Zangazur corridor will be useful both for Armenia and for the whole region. Everyone, including the Armenian side, must understand that this issue arose as a result of the war and will undoubtedly be realized. The head of state also said that the solution of the issue of opening the Zangazur corridor as soon as possible is one of the fundamental elements of future regional peace, “the ATUC chairman said.
He added that President Ilham Aliyev clearly and logically showed his place to those who are still living in the dream of status, and those who are trying to revive the Minsk Group.
