ATUC takes an active part in the implementation of the self-employment program

The Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation (ATUC) is the largest public organization in the country and is closely involved in the implementation of social projects and takes appropriate steps to solve social and other problems of families, , veterans, as well as families belonging to vulnerable groups of population during the first Karabakh War, the April and Tovuz Battles.Ensuring employment and further improving living standards is an important part of the social policy of our state. For this purpose, special attention is paid to the involvement of low-income families in active labor and employment. ATUC and its member organizations are especially active in the implementation of this process.It should be noted that on March 2, 2021, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and the ATUC signed a memorandum of cooperation to assist in the organization of self-employment of vulnerable groups. In connection with the implementation of the document, the ATUC has allocated 200,000 manat to assist in the organization of self-employment in our country.The Coordination Group of ATUC, which was established for this purpose over the past period, has participated in the activities of purchasing and presenting assets to ensure the self-sufficiency of vulnerable population groups, including mainly veterans and participants of the Karabakh War. a

Thus, the ATUC coordination group took part in the presentation of assets purchased for car cleaning services to Karabakh war veterans Jamal Alkhasov in Sumgayit and for a small photo studio of war veteran Alasgar Salmanova in Nasimi district of Baku, and also  Javid Huseynov, for car repair services in Sahil settlement of Garadagh district.ATUC and its member organizations are working hard to implement such projects, support all measures taken by our state in this direction, and this mission will be successfully continued by us in the future.
