On November 27, a meeting of the Presidium of the Republican Committee of Trade Unions of State Departments and Public Service Employees, a member organization of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, was held.
At the meeting chaired by the head of the institution, Hikmat Osmanov, appeals related to a number of issues were reviewed and relevant decisions were made in accordance with the agenda.
First of all, the work plan of the Committee and the Organization for the first half of 2025 was approved.
The application of the United Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Defense regarding the membership of the first trade union organization of the public legal entity “Recovery, Construction and Management Service in Khankendi city, Aghdara and Khojaly regions”, as well as taking care of the families of eight martyrs was considered. The adoption of eight martyrs’ families, the cancellation of the 2 first trade union organizations, for the 2024-2025 academic year, the children of the members who study with “excellent” and “good” grades decisions were made to continue the scholarship.
The report on the results of the investigation of the financial and economic activities of several trade union organizations was also widely discussed at the meeting.
