On October 8, a meeting was held in the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC) with the participation of the management of the institution, the chairmen of member and subordinate organizations.
At the meeting, current and organizational issues were discussed, the upcoming tasks were discussed and defined.
AHIK chairman Sahib Mammadov instructed the chairmen of the member and subordinate organizations to be sensitive to and thoroughly investigate the appeals of the union members regarding labor rights, to solve the issues raised in a timely and accurate manner, as well as to improve the activity and management mechanism.
Emphasizing the principles of transparency, equality and leaving no one out, the head of the Confederation noted increasing the prestige of trade unions in the society, improving the quality of their activities, and applying a conceptual and systematic approach.
Also, at the meeting, the leaders of the member organizations talked about the future plans, and mutual discussions were held.
