On September 19, under the joint organization of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Problems of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic and the Nakhichevan Council of Trade Unions, a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation, school clothes, bags and shoes were presented to low-income children who lost their parents and lacked parental care.

At the event, the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan were commemorated with a minute of silence.

Then Aytan Mammadova, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Problems of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, spoke and said that like all children living in the autonomous republic, children from special categories are also surrounded by the attention and care of the state.

Later, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, Khatira Ibrahimli, made a speech and emphasized that the Council of Trade Unions of Nakhichevan, like children of all categories, pays close attention to the upbringing of children who need social care as healthy children worthy of the Motherland, and closely participates in projects related to them.

In the end, the organizers presented school clothes, bags and shoes to 40 school children who lost their parents and were deprived of parental care.

The parents who participated in the event expressed their gratitude for the attention and care shown.
