On December 17, the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Confederation of Trade Unions, Sahib Mammadov, met with veterans at the “Nakhchivan Veterans” Public Association.
At the meeting, the Chairman of the Confederation spoke about the heroic history of Azerbaijan, the military skill of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the power of our glorious Army, and the unshakable unity of our people. It was emphasized that our soldiers and officers from Nakhchivan showed heroism and made an important contribution to the historical victory in the defense of our motherland and for the freedom of our lands. Our state always keeps the families of martyrs, veterans, war participants in mind and does not spare their support. The Chairman of the Confederation particularly noted the work done by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in this direction and the social projects it has implemented.
Jeyhun Bayramov, Chairman of the “Nakhchivan Veterans” Public Union, spoke with satisfaction about the care and high attitude shown to them by our state, and expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva on behalf of the veterans.
