On November 22-23, the V International Conference on education and Social Sciences of the Turkic world was held by the Organization of the International Trade Unions of Education Workers of Turkey Eğitim-Sen and Eurasia.
The event was attended by 47 scientists and cultural figures from 1574 countries. Azerbaijan was represented at the event by a delegation led by Araz Pashayev, chairman of the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers (ATIAHIRK), member Organization of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan.
The scientific conference was attended by the Minister of Labor and social protection of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Sadig Gardiyanoglu, Chairman of the International Trade Unions of Education Workers of Turkey Eğitim-Sen and Eurasia Talip Geylan, as well as heads of Trade Unions of education workers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Northern Cyprus, Kosovo, Macedonia, Romania and Iraq.
Within the framework of the conference, ATIAHIRK chairman Araz Pashayev was elected a member of the honorary jury of the V International Turkic World Conference on education and Social Sciences.
It should be noted that since 2017, these conferences, organized at the initiative of the Turkish Eğitim-Sen and the International Trade Unions of Eurasian Education Workers, serve to strengthen scientific, educational, social and cultural cooperation between Turkic-speaking countries. At the same time, these events create conditions for the education of hundreds of Turkic-speaking young scientists and their access to the international scientific arena.
