The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), hosted by Azerbaijan, is of great interest in the world. The world’s leading mass media devote a lot of space to this prestigious event, where 72,000 participants from 196 countries have registered, including 80 presidents, vice-presidents and prime ministers.
“Shikh” sanatorium and “Buzovna” Physiotherapy Center of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK) are among the places where foreign guests participating in the COP29 events are staying. All conditions have been created for guests to work and relax comfortably here.
AHIK volunteers actively participate in this process and closely support COP29 participants.
COP participants located in the “Shikh” sanatorium and the “Buzovna” Physiotherapy Center spoke with pleasure about the beauty of Baku, the hospitality of the people, and highly valued the support given by volunteers to their activities. They said that COP29 was organized at a high level, and its results will be very useful in the fight against climate change.
