Sahib Mammadov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation, visited Old city, one of the pearls of world cultural heritage, together with Eric Manzi, Deputy Secretary General of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), who is in Baku to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
The guest was informed about the historical and architectural monuments here. A tour of the Miniature Book Museum and the exhibits on display aroused Eric Manzi’s special interest.
Then, the Chairman of the Confederation, Sahib Mammadov, and the Deputy Secretary General of the IOC, Eric Manzi, visited the Yanardagh State Historical-Cultural and Nature Reserve and observed the miracle that ignited as a result of the release of natural gas. The guest was informed about the historical monument.
Eric Manzi expressed his satisfaction with being in Azerbaijan and participating in COP29, and shared his pleasant impressions of the beauties of Baku.
