A meeting was held with the leadership of the “YASHAT” Foundation at the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions (AHIK).
Noting that the families of the martyrs of the Patriotic War, veterans are always surrounded by the attention and care of the state, the Chairman of AHIK Sahib Mammadov said that the issues of vulnerable people are also taken into consideration by the Confederation. He emphasized that it is the duty of each of us to be sensitive to the families of martyrs and veterans, regardless of the position and position.
Mentioning the existing cooperation between AHIK and the “YASHAT” Foundation, the chairman of the Confederation said that mutual relations will be continued successfully from now on, and expressed his views on the prospects of cooperation.
Elvin Huseynov, the head of “YASHAT” Foundation and Karabakh veteran, spoke about the work done by the organization he leads. He said that since its establishment, the Fund provides additional support to measures implemented by the state in the field of social protection of disabled servicemen and family members of martyrs in connection with the protection of the territorial integrity of our country, and tries to implement these measures in transparent conditions. Elvin Huseynov also drew attention to the importance of the principle of fairness and rotation in support measures.
At the meeting, the importance of ensuring the employment of people from the vulnerable group and involving them in professional training was also mentioned by the chairman of AHIK.
In addition, proposals were made regarding the work to be done in the future, and new projects were discussed.
