The day of the cities of Khankendi, Khojaly, Khojavend and Aghdara is celebrated for the first time in Azerbaijan.
According to the Decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on September 18 this year, Khankendi, Khojaly, Khojavand and Aghdara days will be solemnly celebrated on September 20 every year.
The establishment of this significant day is related to the disarmament and removal of the remnants of the Armenian armed forces and illegal armed groups from our territories. Today, September 20, one year has passed since the cities of Khankendi, Khojaly, Khojavand and Aghdara were cleared of Armenian separatists.
