On September 1, with the support of “Azerenergy” OJSC, an action “one book for every child” was held in front of the Statue of Zeynalabdin Tagiyev for little residents of Baku.
Chairman of the United Trade Union Committee of “Azerenergy” OJSC Afruz Aghayeva, active members of the trade union, as well as the author of the presented books, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, publisher Bahram Bagyrzade participated in the charity event.
500 books, Rich in colorful pictures “flora of Azerbaijan”, “rules for little pedestrians”, “history of mugham”, “Shusha”, “rules of Conduct” and so on, were given as a gift to the little residents, especially the children of martyrs and war veterans.
This event, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the death of philanthropist Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, was welcomed by the city residents.
