September 18 is the 30th anniversary of the opening of Niyazi’s Apartment Museum, a branch of the State Museum of Music Culture of Azerbaijan.
On this occasion, on September 19, a ceremonial event was held at Niyazi’s Housing Museum. Representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Baku Music Academy, the Union of Composers, directors and employees of Baku museums, and the musical community of Baku city took part in the event. First, the participants got acquainted with the photo exhibition “From the history of the museum” prepared in the lobby.
The event began with the video recording of the speech of the National leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, at the opening of the museum on September 18, 1994.
Alla Bayramova, director of the State Museum of Musical Culture of Azerbaijan, gave an introductory speech. Rza Bayramov, director of Niyazi’s Housing Museum, spoke about the works and achievements made during the museum’s years of operation.
Adil Atakishiyev, the chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Culture Workers (MIHI RK), a member organization of the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions (AHIK), congratulated the members of the museum’s trade union on the occasion of the jubilee and awarded the management of the museum and a number of its employees with an honorary certificate and monetary award.
The event continued with the artistic part.
