On September 11, the Azerbaijan Customs Workers Trade Union Association held an event dedicated to the presentation of awards to young people working in the customs service who were awarded the honorary title of “Young Specialist of the Year” by the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan for 2023.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Union Rovshan Namazov, Deputy Chairman Asaf Agayev, employees of the State Customs Committee Magomed Najafli, Sayyad Tarlanli and Shahla Mirza-zade.Chairman Rovshan Namazov welcomed the participants of the event and emphasized that the youth policy laid down by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in our country has been successfully continued by Mr. President Ilham Aliyev.R. Namazov emphasized that identifying talented and creative youth and developing their abilities is one of the main areas of state youth policy, and noted that young people play an active role in the customs service.Then Rovshan Namazov held a ceremony of presenting diplomas, badges and certificates to young people who distinguished themselves in their service activities and were awarded the honorary title of “Young Specialist of the Year” of the AHIK for 2023. Scientific and practical teacher of the medical service department, chairman of the first trade union committee of the medical service department, lieutenant of the customs service Shakhla Mirza-zade, who was awarded the honorary title of “Young Specialist of the Year”, expressed gratitude for the trust shown and expressed the care and attention of the trade union to young people, noted that this is of great importance in her professional development and further motivation.The event ended with a commemorative photo. It should be noted that the honorary title of “Young Professional of the Year” was established by AHIK in 2015 in order to increase the interest of the younger generation in various types of art, professions and work activities, mobilize their skills for the socio-economic development of our republic and strengthen their motivation for membership in trade unions.
