On September 13, the chairman of the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions (AHIK) Sahib Mammadov and the head of the Naftalan City Executive Authority Vugar Novruzov inspected sanatoriums, facilities and plots of land belonging to the ATUC “Naftalan” Resort Union located in the city.
Before the viewing, the chairman of ATUC Sahib Mammadov and the head of Naftalan City Executive Authority Vugar Novruzov visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of the city and paid tribute to his dear memory by placing flowers in front of it.
Then Sahib Mammadov was interested in the repair and construction works done here.
It was reported that major repair and restoration works in the sanatorium have been continued until today. It is planned to open a two-story bed building with 145 beds and a building where treatment with Naftalan baths will be organized.
It was noted that all conditions will be created to fully satisfy the members of the union who will be sent to this place. Thus, the sanatorium will be equipped with modern equipment, advanced international experience and requirements will be used in the services provided, progressive methods will be used in management, and it will become a modern health-prophylactic institution for the treatment of many diseases.
Also, the area of the sanatorium will be greened, including different types of trees suitable for the climate and terrain, and decorative flower bushes will be planted. Also, employment of local residents in the sanatorium will make an important contribution to employment.
The chairman of the confederation visited other facilities belonging to the Union, including the half-built Mother-Child sanatorium and hotel, as well as the polyclinic building, and was interested in the condition of the car park and boiler room in the area.
ATUC Chairman Sahib Mammadov inspected the administrative building and territory of the Repair and Construction Department located in Goran settlement of Goranboy district of “Naftalan” Resort Union.
After getting acquainted with the work done, the chairman of the ATUC gave a number of tasks and recommendations.
