On August 22, the second assembly of the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan was held. At the meeting chaired by the chairman of the TUEWA, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev, the agenda of the Assembly was approved. The organizational issue was considered at the meeting.
Speaking at the assembly, S.Mohbaliyev spoke about the work done and the successes achieved during his leadership of the TUEWA. At the end of his speech, he announced his resignation from the membership of the Assembly, Presidium of the TUEWA Republican Committee and the chairmanship of the Republican Committee, taking into account the majority of his work as a deputy of the Milli Majlis. S.Mohbaliyev’s resignation was accepted by members of Parliament.
Then a partial change was made between the members of the Presidium of the TUEWA Republican Committee and the election of a new chairman of the organization was carried out. Araz Nadir Oglu Pashayev was elected chairman of TUEWA in the elections held by open vote of the members of Parliament.
The new chairman of the TUEWA is A.Pashayev thanked the members of the Assembly who trusted him and stressed that he would work diligently in connection with the effective activity of the organization headed by him, the protection of labor, social, economic rights and legitimate interests of education workers.
