On August 7, the “Sheki” Recreation Center of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions
Confederation (AHIK) located in the Buzovna settlement of the Khazar region was
opened after major renovation.
The opening ceremony was attended by Sattar Mohbaliyev, the chairman of
AHIK, deputy of the 6th convocation Milli Majlis.
It was reported that the center has 2 four-story dormitories for 100 people.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, safe, hair dryer and
bathrobes. There are also rest areas for union members to rest comfortably. There
is also a two-story treatment building on the territory of the center, which has a
dining hall on the first floor, and treatment and examination rooms on the second
floor. An indoor swimming pool is also available for vacationers. There are also all
kinds of conditions in the hall intended for holding various international and local
events.
Extensive landscaping work have been carried out in the area, and a modern
lighting system has been installed.
The chairman of AHIK visited the territory of the recreation center,
inspected the buildings, got acquainted with the conditions created for recreation.
Highly appreciating the created conditions, the chairman of the
Confederation gave recommendations and instructions to the leadership of the
Center for raising services to an even higher level and promptly eliminating any
problems that may arise.
