Seed exhibition and sale fair and an Agrarian Business Festival were held in Zardab and Agsu regions under the auspices of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and the partnership of the Agrarian Field Workers’ Union.
Institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture and other state enterprises, local seed producers, companies engaged in the production and sale of large seeds, as well as local companies specializing in other fields of agriculture participated in the exhibition.
Farmers and laborers from neighboring regions also participated in the festivals held at Zardab Barama Processing Station and Agsu State Flag Square.
At the opening of the festival, heads of local executive authorities, director of the agrarian Innovation Center, as well as chairman of the Trade Union of agrarian sector workers Fuad Mammadov also spoke about the importance of the event. He noted that the purpose of these festivals held regularly in different regions in the provincial application is to establish direct relations between farmers and producers. Chairman of the trade union of agrarian sector workers Fuad Mammadov said that trade union organizations are always with employees, and urged farmers and workers to use qualified certified seeds during sowing.
Alternative energy facilities, ecological products, climate-resistant fruit and vegetable seeds and products were also exhibited at the event in accordance with the priorities of the COP 29 event.
