On August 16, 2024, a trade union was founded in “AZERA Holding” with approximately 2,500 members. There are more than 30 groups of companies within “AZERA Holding”, the holding includes “Sara group”, “Kroun-co”, “Bina-Agro”, “Seed and seedling center”, “Agroland Azerbaijan” operating in the field of agriculture. , “Agro Plant Clinic” and “Fruitland” are big companies.
Musa Mirzayev, the vice-chairman of the Confederation of Azerbaijan Trade Unions, Sabuhi Abdullayev, the chairman of the management board of “AZERA Holding” and Fuad Mammadov, the chairman of the Agrarian Workers’ Union, spoke at the founding conference and expressed their support for the initiative to create a trade union. After the official speech, the representatives representing the collectives expressed their initiative to create a United Trade Union Organization in accordance with the procedure. A United trade union organization was established at “AZERA Holding” LLC, its management team and members of the inspection commission were elected. As a result of voting, Sabuhi Samadov was elected the chairman of the organization.
In the end, the chairman of the Agrarian Workers’ Union, Fuad Mammadov, congratulated the newly elected delegation, wished success to the newly elected chairman, and expressed his confidence that the newly created trade union organization in one of the largest holdings of our country will be one of the most exemplary organizations.
