On July 1-2, with the support of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, a training on “improving the knowledge and skills of the Trade union organization” was held.
The purpose of the training, which was attended by employees of the Confederation and member organizations, is to increase the knowledge and experience of trade union members on leadership principles, regulation methods and tasks, and to support their specialization in this area.
During the training, discussions and activities were organized on the following topics:
* Building and leading a team, organizing and managing a small or large group;
* Definition and importance of leadership, different leadership styles and characteristics of effective leaders;
* Communication channels within the organization;
* Basics of public relations-communication with traditional and new media;
* Preparation of effective media messages.
This event, based on Team building, was distinguished from others by its theme, interactivity and diversity. Various group classes and intellectual games were also organized in the training.
These activities allowed the participants to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and allowed them to develop leadership skills.
