Lala Allahverdiyeva, medical expert of the Higher Attestation Commission under the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, doctor of medical sciences, professor, honored doctor of the Republic of Azerbaijan, well – known scientist and allergist in many countries of the world, visited “Duzdag Treatment Center”. Professor met with Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Gazanfar Abdullayev and rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev. The guests visited Duzdag Treatment Center and got acquainted with the conditions created and the work done. Also, the allergist talked with patients undergoing treatment at the Center and gave them medical advice. Then a tea party was arranged for the guests in the Center. During the meeting, issues of future cooperation were also discussed.
The scientist said that “Duzdag Treatment Center” in Nakhchivan is a unique medical institution in Azerbaijan due to its potential capabilities, and this institution has no analogues in the world practice of Speleotherapy. During the visit, Professor Lala Allahverdiyeva presented her book to Gazanfar Abdullayev, chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The chairman of the council also presented the guest with a gift made of salt as a souvenir.
It should be noted that Lala Allahverdiyeva has repeatedly made reports at international forums, congresses and symposiums in order to promote the Azerbaijani Speleotherapy and the Nakhchivan “Duzdag” cave on a global scale.
