The chairman of the ANAS Free Trade Union Sanan Hasanov and the department head of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Zohra Aliyeva, participated in the engagement ceremony of Adil Adilov, a veteran of the Patriotic War, a brave fighter, a presidential pensioner, who lives in the village of Cardan, Agdash district, and was awarded medals for the freedom of Sugovusha.
The scientists who participated in the ceremony met with the family members of the veteran, congratulated the young people and presented them with gifts on behalf of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation and ANAS.
Sanan Hasanov conveyed the congratulations of the President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli and the Chairman of ATUC Sattar Mohbaliyev to the young people. On behalf of the scientists, gratitude was expressed to all our veterans and the families of martyrs in the person of Adil Adilov for uniting around the Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev and bringing the historical Victory to us.
Scholars also visited the spring built in the village in memory of the martyrs and prayed for their souls.
