Within the framework of the “Human Rights Month” announced by the Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, an educational webinar was held by the Republican Committee of the Health Workers Trade Union.
The event was attended by the chairmen of district councils and trade union committees operating in Baku.
Discussions were held on increasing attention to the legislation in force, the promotion, protection and provision of human rights, and the declaration of 2024 as the “Year of Solidarity for the Green World” in Azerbaijan, the steps taken in this direction, as well as the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change The importance of holding the 29th session of the Conference (COP29) in our country, the duties of the trade unions and other necessary issues were given.
At the event, the opinions and suggestions of the participants on the topic were heard and their questions were answered.
