On the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the birth of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, the final round of the mini-football championship organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population was held.
Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev, Deputy Chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan Hikmet Osmanov and others watched the final game.
First, the teams of the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry and the DOST Agency fought for the 3rd place. The State Social Protection Fund team won 2:1 and took the 3rd place in the championship.
Then the teams that will meet in the final game – the teams of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry and the State Employment Agency entered the field.
The dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs was commemorated with a minute’s silence, and the National Anthem of Azerbaijan was played.
The team of the Social Services Agency won the mini-football championship of the Ministry by defeating its opponent 3:0 in a tense game.
Sahil Babayev, Hikmet Osmanov presented diplomas to the referees who managed the final games and the most productive player of the tournament, cups, diplomas and medals to the champion team, and diplomas and medals to the second and third place teams.
A total of 12 teams from the institutions of the Ministry competed in the mini-football championship, which started on May 11.
