On June 28, in connection with the 100th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, a “Summer school” was organized for special category children at the Agbulag Recreation Center with the joint organization of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children’s Problems of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the Council of Trade Unions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Gazanfar Abdullayev said during the meeting with the students that a series of events are being held in our autonomous republic in connection with the 100th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Children were also kept in mind in such events. It was emphasized that the Council always pays special attention to the healthy, educated and patriotic growth of children of all categories living in our autonomous republic. In addition to organizing their rest, necessary measures are taken to solve their problems.
Then the Chairman of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children’s Problems of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Ramila Seyidova, talked about the children’s policy of our country implemented in our country, as well as in our autonomous republic. It was reported that our state is taking all possible measures to make them grow up as worthy citizens, to become knowledgeable, capable, and highly intelligent citizens.
The summer school with the participation of 45 children will last 3 days. The program includes an excursion to the village of Aghbulag, a concert, screening of films on the theme of patriotism, sports competitions, intellectual games, educational seminars, a book reading hour and a discussion of the books read.
It should be noted that at the end of the “Summer School” diplomas will be presented to the children who showed activity.
